We've all hear about the car of the future that will drive it's self. I'd be nice to see that, wouldn't it? Leave it to BMW to push the boundaries of technology to make this happen!

Battery limit

Did you hear about a new rule for airline travel going into effect on 1-1-08? It limits the quantity of rechargeable batteries one can take on a flight. Not lose batteries on Check-in luggage (must be inside device) and only two spare batteries in your carry-on! While this may seem OK, those of us that take a lot of pictures and (as a necessity) have to carry spare batteries, may have problems with this limit.
A spare battery for the camera, maybe a second one for the notebook computer, and you are done. No more Batteries for you!

Revamping

Just like I did a long time ago, I'm revamping my site again! I seem to do it every year and that all seems good, except that it is also the only time I update the site. After a few past from the time of the revamp, it goes again to being a forgotten blog.

I always post promises about how this time I'll be different, but It never quite work out! This time I promise not to post regularly, in fact I don't promise to post anything. I plan to integrate every method I can that let's my post to this blog easily. I will give Flock a try. It may make it easier to post since it is integrated into the browser. But if it doesn't work too bad.

One more try doesn't hurt and something may come of it, hopefully!

I usually use this page to push my own posts. But this time I have a much more important reason to post something here. I need what little google juice this site has to push a new blog for a friend.

This blog has been born from the need to help a friend (Edith Vargas) keep her family updated as to her situation. She was diagnosed with Leukemia a week ago Today. As I write this she is being treated at the University of Chicago Hospital.

New way to find STUFF

I haven't been blogging for some time now. But I've been checking many things online.

I was a big fan of RSS but I didn't use any reader. Until I found the Google Reader. If you want to see what catches my attention, check out my Share Items.
